Our Story

Path

Sendero means "path" in Spanish, and we chose this name to highlight the path we take in order to reach remote coffee growing regions.

Our Story

Sustainably Sourced

We began by sourcing outstanding coffees from relatively unknown coffee producing countries, such as Uganda. Sendero works closely with farmers and cooperatives to ensure they receive the highest possible prices (above Fair Trade guidelines) for their coffee. We offer farmers additional financial bonuses to produce the finest quality coffee beans, and to maintain the highest farming standards. None of our farmers use any chemicals or pesticides.

All our coffees are 100% Arabica, and rigorously selected to ensure the highest quality. We look for coffee beans that embody the ‘terroir' and individuality of different regions, as well as the passion and commitment of the farmers.
